Brennpunkt: Focus on eTourism = Focus on future relevancy of internet marketing strategies
The importance of marketing strategies in the digital world
This international conference will be taking place on Nov. 15th, 2010 at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. Focus: Online marketing and distribution strategies in our digital age.

What approaches and solutions are available? What about expectations and chances? Thought-provoking presentations on eTourism, trends & challenges will kick things off, followed by a podium discussion on the topic of online distribution and multi channelling – gut-wrenching choices?

Perfect handling of online marketing strategies
The afternoon will offer three parallel programs, depending on demand – beginners, advanced and research. Participants can decide for themselves which topics fit their needs and interests. There is certainly a wide variety ranging from ‘The seven pillars of successful online advertising’ to ‘Effective possibilities for optimizing search engines for SMEs’ and on to ‘Chances and risks in social media marketing’.

Getting to know eTourism solutions
For the first time (8.45 – 9.45), the conference will also include a tradeshow. Why that? There are numerous eTourism solutions on the market – on the hotel level as well as on the destination level - many of which are as yet hardly known or have never been actually seen in action. The tradeshow should connect providers of these exciting solutions with people in the business.

The Brennpunkt eTourism conference is an annual one within the framework of the cross-border EU project entitled ‘eTourism Fitness’, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economics, Family and Youth as well as the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce. For detailed program and registration, see
